Liga za pátou internacionálu se pokusila vyloučit člena RIO z projektu Nové Antikapitalistické Levice v České republice
V dobré víře formulovalo RIO Praha text otevřeného dopisu, který upřímně pojmenovával aktuální problémy Nové antikapitalistické levice (NAL). Jeho cílem bylo začít konstruktivní diskusi o dalším směřování NAL a o práci jednotlivých skupin (tedy RIO a L5I, jiné zde nejsou) v této organizaci.

Die Bourgeoisien in ganz Europa zwingen den ArbeiterInnen und der Jugend Sparpakete auf, und Deutschland bildet hier keine Ausnahme. Aber wegen der momentanen Stärke des deutschen Imperialismus, welcher seine Position auf Kosten anderer imperialistischer Mächte ausbauen konnte, und wegen der aktiven Unterstützung der Gewerkschaftsbürokratie, waren die Kämpfe gegen dieses Programm bis jetzt nur sehr beschränkt. In diesem Rahmen ist es für RevolutionärInnen in Deutschland wichtig, von den Klassenkämpfen in anderen Ländern zu lernen. Mit diesem Ziel versammelten sich 40 Personen auf dem internationalen Seminar der Revolutionären Internationalistischen Organisation (RIO) und der Trotzkistischen Fraktion – Vierte Internationale (FT-CI) am 8. The bourgeoisies across Europe are imposing austerity programs on the workers and youth, and Germany is no exception. But due to the momentary strength of German imperialism, which was able to bolster its position at the expense of other imperialist powers, and with the active support of the trade union bureaucracy, the struggles against this program have so far been limited. In this framework, it is important for revolutionaries in Germany to learn from the class struggle in other countries. With this objective, 40 people gathered at the international seminar of the Revolutionary Internationalist Organization (RIO) and the Trotskyist Fraction – Fourth International (FT-CI) on January 8 in Berlin. »»»»
Po dlouhých letech pozorujeme i v arabské zemi revoluční proces v plném proudu. Autoritativní režim prezidenta bin Alího si tváří v tvář mobilizaci mas neví rady. Revolta se rozpoutala kvůli nárůstu cen základních produktů, zejména potravin. Rozbuškou pro masové akce se stala demonstrativní sebevražda, když se 17. prosince upálil 26letý muž kvůli tomu, že nemohl sehnat práci.

Tento druh politické represe ze strany kapitalistických soudů může být zastaven pouze masovými akcemi pracujících a mládeže. While we have important political differences with the SWLK and the initiators of this solidarity call, we unreservedly condemn the attempt by the South Korean state to persecute left communist activists for their political work. This kind of political repression by the capitalist courts can only be stopped by mass action of the workers and youth. Solche politische Repression durch die kapitalistischen Gerichte kann nur durch Massenaktion der ArbeiterInnen und Jugend gestoppt werden. Po mnoho let pracují čeští členové Ligy za pátou internacionálu (L5I) a čeští členové mezinárodní organizace RIO bok po boku v řadě hnutí a kampaní (NE základnám, Studenti proti rasismu). Kromě přátelských vztahů v osobní rovině naše členy vždy pojila blízkost politických pozic odrážející fakt, že naše organizace vycházejí ze stejných tradic revolučního marxismu.

Das tunesische Regime von Ben Ali konnte die Massenmobilisierung, die sich wegen der gestiegenen Lebensmittelpreise entzündet hatte und seinen Rücktritt forderte, nicht aufhalten. In Tunesien ist ein revolutionärer Prozess im Gange, bei dem islamistische Kräfte nicht die Avantgarde stellen. Es sind arbeitslose junge AkademikerInnen, RechtsanwältInnen, und ArbeiterInnen in den Industrie- und Bergbauzentren, die einen Generalstreik von zwei Stunden am 14.
