My, podepsaní členové REVO Austrálie, píšeme RICu a členům REVOLUTION s naléhavou žádostí o odmítnutí rozhodnutí Mezinárodního setkání delegátů REVOLUTION, konaného v Praze v červenci 2006. Zde byla přijata smutná resoluce odmítající REVU Austrálie právo být sekcí REVOLUTION; a poněkud cynicky navrhující, že její jednotliví členové se mohou angažovat jako sympatizanté – příznivci, kteří nemají ani práva ani odpovědnosti vyplývající z členství v REVOLUTION. »»»»

Im Vorfeld der internationalen Konferenz der kommunistischen Jugendorganisation REVOLUTION rangen die Delegierten und die Mitglieder der internationalen Leitung, die nicht Teil sind der Liga für die Fünfte Internationale (LFI) um eine offen und ehrlich unabhängige revolutionäre Jugendtendenz. Politische Diskussionen über die Zukunft von REVOLUTION hat es schon seit einigen Monaten gegeben und diese gipfelten in den letzten Wochen in den Dokumenten für die zweite internationale Delegiertenkonferenz. Die Debatte, die von der LFI als „Demokratischer Zentralismus oder kein Demokratischer Zentralismus“ formuliert wurde, geht weit über diese einfache Phrase hinaus. »»»»
In the run-up to the international conference of the communist youth organization REVOLUTION, the delegates and members of the international leadership who are not part of the League for the Fifth International (LFI) have been involved in an ongoing struggle to create an open and honest, independent revolutionary youth tendency. Political discussions about the future of REVOLUTION have been going on for several months, and have culminated in recent weeks in the documents for the second international delegate conference. The debate, which the LFI has posed as ‘democratic centralism or no democratic centralism’, expands far beyond these simple phrases. »»»»
V době přípravy Mezinárodní konference delegátů komunistické organizace mládeže REVOLUTION byli delegáti i členové mezinárodního vedení, kteří nejsou členy Ligy za pátou internacionálu (LFI), součástí pokračujícího boje za vytvoření otevřené a čestné nezávislé revoluční tendence mládeže. Politická debata o budoucnosti REVOLUTION trvala několik měsíců a vyvrcholila v posledních týdnech v dokumentech pro 2. mezinárodní konferenci delegátů. Debata, kterou LFI popisuje jako „demokratický centralismus – ano či ne“, se rozvinula daleko za a mimo tuto jednoduchou frázi. »»»»

In the mass movements against war and neoliberalism in the past few years, young people have played a bearing role. In France and Chile we saw once again how young people make up the mass of demonstrators, but lack their own political voice. The leadership of these movements is made up of established reformist parties; to radicalize the youth and break them from this leadership, we call for the creation of independent, revolutionary youth organizations, united in a youth international.
The question posed around this conference is the question if and how REVOLUTION is capable of advancing this project. »»»»

In den Massenbewegungen gegen Krieg und Neoliberalismus der letzten Jahre haben Jugendliche eine tragende Rolle gespielt. In Frankreich und Chile haben wir wieder gesehen, wie Jugendliche die Masse der DemonstrantInnen stellen, jedoch keine eigene politische Stimme haben. Die Führung dieser Bewegungen wird von etablierten reformistischen Parteien gestellt; um die Jugendlichen zu radikalisieren und von dieser Führung zu trennen, treten wir für die Schaffung von unabhängigen, revolutionären Jugendorganisationen, vereinigt in einer Jugendinternationale, ein.
Die Frage, die sich um diese Konferenz herum stellt, ist die Frage, ob und wie REVOLUTION in der Lage ist, dieses Projekt voranzutreiben. »»»»

Masová hnutí proti válce a neoliberalismu v několika posledních letech stála na mladých lidech. Ve Francii a Chile jsme opět viděli jak mladí lidé tvořili masu demonstrujících, ale postrádali svůj vlastní politický hlas. Vedení těchto hnutí je tvořeno zavedenými reformistickými stranami; abychom radikalizovali mládež a odpoutali ji od tohoto vedení vyzýváme k vytvoření nezávislých revolučních organizací mládeže, spojených v internacionálu mládeže.
Problém, před kterým stojí tato Konference je otázka, zda a jak je REVOLUTION schopno uchopit tento projekt a pokročit v něm kupředu. »»»»

Podíváme-li se na práci našeho mezinárodního vedení (RICu) od REVOLUTION konference ve Vídni 2005 a srovnáme-li ji s prací WRICCU (2004-2005), musíme si přiznat, že současná úroveň naší práce není dlouhodobě uspokojivá a neodpovídá posunu k centralizovanějšímu a efektivnějšímu vedení. »»»»
